"Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?" - Mary Oliver
Join Sheila Ewers along with special guests Tami Roberts and Kember Griffiths in one of the most unspoiled natural environments in the world, and learn from the earth how to honor your untamed, divine, feminine soul.
The Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica is one of the most biodiverse places on earth, home to more than half of the animal species in all of Central America, largely undeveloped, untamed, and unspoiled. It is the perfect place to let your hair down, step away from the expectations of your daily life, and remember what it feels like to be wildly feminine and divine in the company of other conscious women.
Over the course of our 8 day, 7 night retreat, awaken to the sounds of the jungle every morning, swim in the tranquil Gulfo Dulce right outside your doorstep, practice yoga and meditation daily, move to the primal beats of Kember's drumming, participate in women's circles of storytelling, truth telling, and self-discovery, dine on nutritious, beautifully crafted cuisine, and remember who you were before the world stepped in and told you who you should be.
This is a chance to re-discover, re-wild and re-awaken the most precious aspects of YOU.
US and EU citizens who travel to Costa Rica for tourism and pleasure purposes need a valid passport. Please check your passport to make sure you have at least 6 months validity from the time you enter Costa Rica. If not, you should get a new passport before traveling. A visa is not required.

As we explore the mythology of the Wild Woman, we will metaphorically gather the bones of the parts of ourselves we have discarded or left behind so that we can reawaken our full potential. Expect a long morning and afternoon yoga session followed by activites for creativity and self-discover. In between you'll have plenty of time to wander the beach, get a massage or simply rest.
Today we have the option for a Hike deep into the jungle led by an expert guide who can educate us about this wondrous ecosystem. We will conclude at a waterfall where you will have the opportunity to rest and swim in the cool natural waters. After dinner, we will end the day with a drumming meditation around the fire.
Our practices and exploration today will focus on discovering the Spirit Animal that guides your life. Can you turn to nature to source wisdom, to identify opportunity, to navigate the unknown? This is the work of your inner guidance system, and oftentimes the creatures that surround us can help us tune into the energies we need to live in deeper alignment.
Today will focus on releasing the old stories, patterns and habits that no longer serve the life you are creating for yourself. You'll have the option to rappel down deep ravines in the jungle and release fear and inhibition. After dinner, we will end with Yin and drumming do release whatever has been unconsciously held in the tissues of the body.
After exploring myths of the Seal Woman who returns to the watery home that is her nature, we'lll have the option to climb aboard a boat and seek out dolphins, wales and other sea creatures. You can snorkel or lounge in the sun as we explore the Gulfo Dulce that surrounds our retreat.
On our last day together, we will acquire tools for bringing the wild self back into the world of our daily lives. We'll share highlights of our week together, join our voices in song, dance and integrate before our special farewell dinner.
Enjoy one final sunrise togerther! Departure times will vary today as we say our goodbyes and head back home.
